I dream of the day Skype will work to my Canadian and US clients, as well as to those in the UK. When will this govt and the industry as a whole understand that those of us sitting in our makeshift offices at home could be contributing far more into this recession-hit country than we have ever been able to because our efficiency is limited, and our cash goes out in bills it needn't rather than being spent in the economy as a whole (particularly as Blue Pounds in sectors of the economy which most need supporting eg rural)? Roll on 2010. It can't, surely, get any worse?! Some of us are homeworkers, and have been now for 15 years.
