Bit odd. I never use Flipboard but appear to have it installed on my droid and it occasionally attracts my attention somehow. I decided to uninstall the app but it doesn’t seem to want to let me. It offers me the opportunity to stop updating or disable it but not uninstall. Doesn’t seem right. Is it a core android feature or have Flipboard done z deal with Samsung?

If it is installed by Samsung you will need to root the device and then you can uninstall it. It is not part of Android.
If you do the “uninstall updates” what does that button say afterwards ?
This is why I will never buy Samsung. Their devices are just full of bloatware. Nexus or Google Play Edition is the only consideration for me on Android.
Can’t see meself getting another Samsung either tbh
phil – it says do you want to replace this app with the factory version. I tried disabling it but it tells me “If you disable a built in app this may cause problems with other apps”!!!
It’s rubbish
