fring Alliance General Manager is guest speaker
The fring Alliance is an initiative founded by GENBAND, which acquired fring in 2013 for $50m. At that time, Roy was CEO of fring, a company he helped launch in 2006.
Prior to taking on the leadership of fring Alliance, Roy headed up strategy and product development for Kandy, a Platform-as-a-Service for Real Time Communications, also funded by GENBAND. In that role, he oversaw the execution of the overall Real Time Communications on the cloud strategy, and helped position as a leader in the field Telecom Over-The-Top for developers, enterprises and Communication Service Providers.
This is going to be an interesting evening. Not only has the speaker been intimately involved in the generation of new business models for our industry but he is himself a genuinely interesting person. As a colonel in the Israeli military Roy has in the past had to drop everything and head for the front line.
Not many None of our previous guest speakers have an MA in Strategy and Warfare.
These evenings are essentially round table debates where the speaker acts as a catalyst for a discussion that is held under Chatham House Rules. Attendees are mainly C Level individuals from Service Providers and their ecosystem. Numbers are kept low to keep the evening intimate and allow everyone to have their say.
This evening is generously sponsored by Netaxis Solutions. A Telecoms Software services company, Netaxis is a fast growing business because it’s solutions are very relevant to ITSPs. They are mostly staffed by engineers certified on key vendor equipments – eg a range of SBCs. Their telecoms Fraud Management service Engo is being offered free to ITSPA members.
This dinner is by invitation only. If you are a senior exec in the Internet Telephony industry and want to come please get in touch via [email protected]
