Working Lunch for busy people

This trefor.net Working Lunch has the theme of VoIP Network Testing and Quality Assurance. All ITSPs will have a need to test their networks at some point. Either stress testing after a major upgrade or maybe prior to an installation at a new customer. Or maybe interoperability testing on some CPE that has had a new firmware release.

This trefor.net Working Lunch has Gert Van Nuffel as guest speaker. Gert, an engineer, is an expert at VoIP testing and network simulation at Belgian network operator Proximus. He is coming over from Belgium to share his experiences of this subject.

The trefor.net Working Lunches are informal meetings designed to connect folk with similar interests. On this occasion the lunch is sponsored by Belgian VoIP infrastructure specialists Netaxis Solutions. Netaxis’ generous sponsorship means that I am able to offer places free of charge to folk who have a genuine interest in VoIP simulation and network testing. We will be discussing how Proximus have used the Netaxis tool Dory to develop scenarios that they use to test the functionality of their services. This is not however a sales pitch for Netaxis. The idea is to make it a useful workshop that will grow each participant’s knowledge of the subject.

To make these events as productive as possible a maximum number of 8 places are available together with the hosts and guest speaker. The event should be of real use to those who have to run VoIP networks.
